Create Vision Board for Travel Dreams

“Visioning is the practice of visualisation with belief, focus and consistency.”

It has been a long time since I shared about visioning in a blog post. Well, I had been working hard at mine. One of my travel dreams is finally coming true! It’s been a long wait.

Young Living Photo Vision Board

I am flying to Salt Lake City in the U.S. to visit a lavender farm in a few days’ time. The best part is that the air flight from Singapore and accommodation at a luxury hotel in the city for my stay are completely free! I will also be attending leadership training workshops organised for attendees to the Silver Retreat as well as having time to explore the city. Hurray!!

I enjoy using the power of visioning to help in achieving some of my dreams. One of which included the desire to visit the Lavender farms owned by Young Living, the top essential oil company in the world. At first, the desire to visit its farms was just wishful thinking on my part.

Then, about a year and half ago, my desire intensified after finding out that such trips could be sponsored by Young Living. The company offers incentive trips on achievement of certain sales volume. Once I knew, I set my intentions differently. By then, I was already incorporating essential oils into my personal sessions with local clients.

With stronger focus, I set the intention of growing it as a business by working with my active team members and organising team activities. Young Living is a network marketing company that allows me to build members and business leaders in various countries. It’s a leadership business.

In addition, I applied the power of intention behind visioning. I also kept seeing visions of purple fields. To aid in visioning, I downloaded many images of lavender fields and Young living farms. The above picture is a photo album of some of the pictures I keep in my iPhone. As the Silver retreat is an annual event, I had to wait one year since qualifying for it.

There are many ways to create vision boards. You can do so using the cut magazines and paste them on a cardboard. Or you can simply download the pictures and create them in a board using an image editing software. Another way is to simply have them in an album like what I did quickly for mine. However, creating vision boards is not simply a cut-and-paste job. The visioning process for life mastery involves awakening your heart and soul and living to your highest potential. It involves an inside-out approach.

These days, I like to employ visioning with the use of essential oils too. Therapeutic-grade essential oils are helpful for lifting of vibrations. They are helpful for lifting brain fog, increasing clarity and intensifying focus.  To aid in visioning of my travel dream with Young Living, I had used Clarity, Believe and Abundance. You can find out more about the oils that I love over at my essential oil blog here.

I went to a number of Young Living events back in the day Evelyn and they were awesome. I know you’ll have an amazing time.

The power of vision boards, for me, are that they keep the dream/desire at the forefront of your mind and as we know what we focus on grows.

Congratulations on winning your trip and thanks for reminding us about using vision boards.

I’m so happy for you. Evelyn. Spending time in lavender fields is definitely a dream come true! I love the prices of creating vision boards. However, I’m not a visual person so I forget to look at them afterward. Consistency is always a challenge for me with these kinds of practices. I admire how you keep with it.

Hello Sandra,

It’s the consistency that is always challenging for most. But if we want it badly enough, we will keep to being consistent.

I find creating vision boards most helpful for those who are not visual. Having something physical in an image that reminds us constantly about our dreams can lend greater support to manifesting them into reality.

To your success,
Evelyn

Hi Evelyn,

I’ve never really thought of creating a vision board for travel dreams but of course it’s quite fitting. I do, however, post destinations that I want to visit to Pinterest so I don’t forget them. I guess in a way that is a vision board since I do like to go back and review them.

Great concept!

Hi Lea,

Oh yes, posting destinations on Pinterest is going to be helpful. However, do send more energy and attention on the place that you hope to go to most. Focus on the why you need to go there, for sending out a stronger signal to the Universe.

Wishing you success,
Evelyn
