June is here! Most of the school kids will be having their summer holidays. From the R&R perspective, June is a time for picnics, beach parties, overseas holidays, movies, etc. I am sure that I will be doing plenty of that with my two adorable kids.
From the work perspective, June is the half way mark in the entire year. It is a time for reflection on the goals that I set in the beginning of this year. Am I on track to meet them? What have I accomplished so far? What needs to be adjusted?
Many of us start with a grandious plan on what to do at the beginning of each year. But do we do check back periodically to make sure that we are still on plan? Do we pay lip service to the goals that we set out to accomplish by year end? I have been guilty of this for many years now but I have resolved to change things for year 2006.
Already, I can see that some of my original goals need to be adjusted. But what I have set out to do still meets the overall objective. Also, I have stayed largely true to “Make an Informed Decision on Where to Focus Your Business”.
Ya….it has been a fruitful and meaningful half year and will likely to be so in the next half.
