Format Your Articles Before Submission

Many article directory owners and publishers will simply decline your article if it comes with hard end-of-line breaks. Other publishers won’t publish an article if it hasn’t been delivered in accordance with their line break rules - perhaps 60 or 65 characters-per-line.

This is an illustration of what I mean by hard end-of-line breaks:

The quick
brown fox
jumps over
the lazy
dog and takes a
rest. Under the clear lit
sky, he sits
on a wall.

Don’t you think that it looks pretty odd? It does not even form a proper paragraph. Sometimes, if I have a little more time, I will edit these article submissions by removing the hard end-of-line breaks. But if I have no time at all, I simply reject the article. Increasingly, I am finding it hard to find time to make these required changes myself.

You should remove all of the line breaks in your article before submissions. The only line breaks that should be used are those that indicate paragraphing. Yes, I know it can be a pain making these changes but you have already spent time writing your article or getting it done. Just spend another few minutes to “spruce” the format up and you won’t be getting your article rejected for this reason.
