Writing From The Heart

It has been said over and over again that Original Content Sells Itself.

I can’t agree more.

However, what moves, motivates and truly inspires is when you (the author) write from the heart. As your reader reads through your article, he is practically nodding his head in unison. From the advice that you dish out in your article subsequently, your reader starts to take notes.

I guess it is much easier to write from the heart when you have experienced the struggles and been through some of the problems that the reader is facing yourself. It also takes guts to say that you have not always been as wise as you are right now. You made the same mistakes, had the same frustrations and swore repeatedly for days on end. Obviously, for this instance, you will be using plenty of “I” and “you” in your writing.

When you write from the heart, you will find it easier to use the words that hit the “nail” on its head. These words will “connect” you to your reader.

Connect with the emotion first and worry about sales later. Sales will come when people believe what you say.
