Tips For Better Writing For Your Articles

After reviewing and approving thousands of articles submitted to both my directories, you would think that I have developed a knack in discerning better written articles against the poorer ones.

It is best to submit articles that are keyword optimised for article marketing. Here are some tips for better writing:

1) Keyword density not at appropriate 2-3%. My gut feel is that closer to 2% is sufficient. Then, there are also those authors that stuff their entire content with keyword phrases. The result? Awkward sentences. A pain to read!

2) Not enough paragraphing. Chunks and chunks of text are being submitted. Best is to keep paragraphs to 3-5 sentences on the average.

3) Sentence structure is very long. I have no idea why. But it appears that the full stop is not used very often.

4) Article title does not have keyword phrase in them.

5) Article title does not appeal. For instance, compare this title “Article Marketing Is A Free Way to Generate Traffic” to “Article Marketing Secrets For Trippling Your Traffic”. Which title will prompt you to want to read the article?

6) The content in the opening paragraphs does not lead the reader to want to find out more. This may be due to poor organisation of the points to be presented and not enough thought as to the content layout.

7) The article ends abruptly. Sometimes, I see a 1-2 sentence concluding paragraph. I prefer an expansion to about 3-4 lines.
