Creating deep links through article submission

Creating deep links help in search engine rankings. What is a deep link? A deep link is one that links to one of your inner pages (other than your home pages). However, it is not so easy to ask a webmaster from another site to link to one of your deeper pages. Most webmasters would only link to your home pages.

However, article marketing allows you to submit deep links in your author’s resource box. You should create a variety of different author’s resource boxes when you submit your various articles.

Here is a case to illustrate:
Say you have a general site on health. On this site, you also have category pages on articles on diet, exercise and sleep. So if you have an article that you have written on “10 benefits to yoga exercises”, then in the author’s resource box, include a link direct to your category page (example: http://www.exercise.health.com) by telling your readers to visit that resource for more tips and information on exercise.

You will also have other articles on the various topics of diet and sleep. Do the same for each of them in your article submission. It is best to link to the appropriate category for the article of the same topic.
