Videos are the way to go as the new platform for publishing content. That does not mean that articles are passe. You need a multitude of media to convey your messages. However, problem often does not lie in the use of which medium but what content to generate. How to get so many ideas for content?
Well, here is a solution. If you have a bunch of articles that are previously written, you can also recycle your content and make a video out of them. Simply read out the text of your article and record yourself as if you are the presenter on a TV station.
Alternatively, you can also just record your voice as a Mp3 and use photo images and slides to illustrate what you mean. In this example here that I’ve recently created, I used a PLR audio article to create this video for youtube. I also added photo images at various points, intersperced by title slides. The difficulty you may face with this method is that the audio may not always directly match the image at a particular point in time. Also, you may want to manipulate your images and slides so that at the midpoint of your video, the image captured by Youtube is the one that appears as the thumbnail. Here is the example:
Photo images can be taken royalty free from various sources. For this video, I’ve intentionally placed an image of a surfing dude at the midpoint of my video presentation. I particularly like pictures of water sports, since they have been been my favorite pasttimes for a long time.
I also like to carry my digital camera in my handbag so that it is easy for me to take pictures, whenever there is a good photo moment. Of course, it helps that the place that I frequent is the beach (5 minutes away from my home).
If you find the tips in this post useful, I would appreciate if you can give my youtube video the thumbs up!
