Do What You Love is for Amateurs (vs Love What You Do is for Professionals)

“Do what you love” is for amateurs but “love what you do” is the mantra for professionals.” – Seth Godin

I was most intrigued when I came across this quote by Seth Godin. Seth Godin is an entrepreneur, thought leader, best-selling author and speaker whose mission is to inspire people to level up. 

Well, I decided to record a video where I discuss the difference between Doing What You Love vs Loving What You Do and about reconciling them. 

I’d also like to credit my friend, Vanessa Koh, for inspiring me to love what I do. She taught me that one needs to embrace every part of work in order to experience joy every day. We make the intention first, so that we show up – no matter what challenges arise.
