My Abundance Mind Movie

Abundance Mind Movie

In between watching Wall-E, The Mummy III and a Singapore production Money No Enough, I was in my Dreamworks studio (aka my study) working with “Zhang Yi Mou, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas” for two entire weekends. Relying on a shoestring budget of less than $20, production of my Mind Movie wrapped up late yesterday. While it could do with more editing, I have decided to roll the video out in conjunction with Positive Thinking Day (Sept 13). The only reason why this post was not out earlier (like many hours ago) was because of Youtube having server maintenance; contributing to problems in uploading.

A Word From the Producer

Ahem…admittedly, I had a lot of help. I sought the counsel of my angels, meditated for inspiration and creatively visualized for tips being handed to me by greatest movie makers of all time. Since I had no previous experience in martial arts, “Zhang Yi Mou” taught me how to shoot jumping jacks instead. “Steven Spielberg” was on the line, pointing out the importance of making it epic…at least with the right song and images. “George Lucas” had an advice or two about embedding spiritual wisdom and special effects into my production.

You’ve got to view it to know what I’m talking about. Without further ado, let’s proceed with the screening, shall we?

Drumroll Please

So switch off your mobile, dim the lights, pass the popcorn and sink into the movie. Then, as you wake up from a near-dream state (my movie has loads of clouds flying around for stimulation…LOL) after the video has ended, don’t forget to vote and spread the word to your friends!

Your Vote Counts

If you like the video and/or have been enjoying my posts, then may I request for your assistance: Thumbs up to my video using your Youtube account and Rate it 5-star (but of course!).

If you feel called to do make a video yourself, check out this Mind Movie link here for more details. The idea behind making a mind movie is that it can help engage the creative power of your visualization to bring about manifestations. Do send me the details of your video in an email at abundancetapestry [at] gmail.com for my vote. I’m also here to support you in your dreams!

Forget-Me-Nots:

1) Apologies once again for the delay in this post. It’s already Sept 13 from this part of the world! So have a Happy Positivity Thinking Day 🙂

2) Glen has been nice to include my site for tracking personal development blogs using an automated script. Yippee!! My site made it to the 31st position as of now.

3) The critics are in. Let’s hear it from you, the Academy, with your comments below!

Cool! 5-starred! Love the sound track! I love the selflessness towards the ends – I help others. Very inspiring. I love the way you put the images together, I can tell you put a lot of thought into which image accompanied which caption – it really shows.

Evelyn - September 9, 2008

Hello Sid, I’m glad that you liked the video. It’s not perfect and already it took me a loooong time to put everything together. Thanks!

Lance - September 9, 2008

Evelyn, this is a wonderful video! I find it to be very uplifting, positive, and filled with abundance. The music, as well, added to a very peaceful setting. It IS epic!

Gemma - September 9, 2008

I loved your mind movie, Evelyn and want to say thank you for bringing this to my attention. I’m working on mine and it’s almost finished so I’ll be posting it to you-tube in the next day or two, however I’ve already received unexpected money and reconnected with friends from the very dim and distant past so I think it’s already working!
I’ll definitely vote for your movie, I love the gratitude in it, something I was keen to put in mine too … after all what is the point of abundance if you don’t appreciate it??? It’s really all about the feelings it inspires.
Thanks again … keep inspiring people, you are a star!
x

Glen Allsopp - September 9, 2008

Thanks for the link, I’ll have to watch your video when I get home as the internet is too slow over here

Cheers,
Glen

Evelyn - September 9, 2008

@Lance, I’m glad that you like it.

@Gemma, don’t forget to write to me to let me know when your video is up. I’ll definitely vote for it. Winning the cash prize is not as important to me as supporting my friends!

@Glen, please do watch it when you get home! Enjoy!

Kristin - September 9, 2008

I thought the video was amazing! It was like a vision board put in motion. It is very inspirational. I am in the beginning stages of obtaining my dreams through daily meditation and the use of the Law of Attraction. The video allowed me to see that my dreams can be reached, regardless of the seemingly endless limitations.

Vered - MomGrind - September 9, 2008

I love it, Evelyn. Really good. Loved the soundtrack, too! Off to vote on Youtube.

Irene | Light Beckons - September 9, 2008

Hey Evelyn, this is very cool! I’ve gotta go figure out how this mind-movie thingie works some time … sure looks like a lot of fun. Going to YouTube now for my nomination. 😉

Writer Dad - September 9, 2008

Great job Evelyn. I’m working on my own youtube video right now, and it’s comparatively horrible.

It’s obvious that you put a lot of love and care to your video…Really nice…BTW your house is awesome!

Ellen Wilson - September 9, 2008

That is really nice Evelyn. It will do well! I gave it my vote under neyellen2.

Evelyn - September 9, 2008

@Kristin, it’s lovely to hear that you’ve started to meditate daily and learning how to use of the Law of Attraction to manifest your dreams. If you connect with the video idea, why not make one for yourself?

@Vered, thanks for your warm support. As always, I know that I can count on you!

@Irene, I’m glad that you like it. If you want to, I can give you a few pointers when we meet up next. Contact me, ok?

@WriterDad, there will always be room for improvement. I chose to see all the bright sparks and to make do with some of the little mistakes in mine. I went ahead to publish it anyway! Let’s have the courage to soar!! Hope to see yours soon and don’t forget to let me know when it is up!

Evelyn - September 9, 2008

@Jim, I’m glad that the video has met its intent – fill viewers such as yourself with great joy. Thanks for commenting too!

@chris, it’s nice to know that you’ve enjoyed it. Yes…I am so happy for my house that is coming.

@Ellen, how lovely of you!! Thanks for your support. Just a thought….since you work very well with pictures, do consider doing one yourself 🙂

Al at 7P - September 10, 2008

Hi Evelyn – I’m very impressed with the quality of the video. Looks like Steven Spielberg was lucky to find a partner like you to work with 🙂 .

I gave a positive vote on YouTube so good luck with the contest!

Robin - September 10, 2008

Hi Evelyn – Good stuff! I’m sure there will be Movie Moguls knocking on your door (the door of your new house). Thanks for letting us know about this. (I don’t have a uTube account but I will look into it later.)

Wendi Kelly-Life's Little Inspirations - September 10, 2008

Evelyn,

I was very imppressed! Do I have to have a You Tube account to vote? I don’t have one but I would vote!

I think I could watch this every morning as part of my morning affirmations. I just might. It was wonderful… Thank you for sharing.

Evelyn - September 10, 2008

Hi Wendi-Kelly, your feedback touched me so much. I didn’t realize that it could create such an impact. Thanks for your warm encouragement and support!

May your every dream come true!
Evelyn

spaceagesage - September 10, 2008

Evelyn –
Wow! Nice job! It’s not easy to make such a quality video. Thanks for bringing the affirmations alive like that.

Evelyn - September 10, 2008

Spaceagesage, thanks so much for your feedback! Oh yeah….it was clear to me that I needed a lot more knowledge to create a high quality video. I realized that I need to experiment more with imovie maker and at the same time, understand further about the technicalities of picture compression to Youtube and all. But my interest in this will have to wait in favor of writing articles for my site.

Love and light,
Evelyn

Cher ? - September 11, 2008

Hi Evelyn,

I finally sat down to watch your mind movie, and it is very inspirational! I do want to say, (for the benefit of the readers who want to make their own)… they don’t have to pay money to make one from the mind mapping website.

Instead, for those readers who have Microsoft PowerPoint, you can do the same thing. Complete with images, transitions, and music. Just something to consider since money is a factor for some people. I will be writing a blog on the subject on my site: http://ahappyheart10.blogspot.com/

Love and positivity to all!

Cher ?

Kelly@SHE-POWER - September 12, 2008

Evelyn

I finally got a chance to watch your video and it really is amazing. So inspiring and peaceful. I really felt a sense of calm float down over me, and there’s not a lot of calm in my life at the moment, so thank you.
