The World Builder In You

Several thoughts ran through my mind when I watched the video that has already captured the imagination of more than a million people worldwide since its release three months ago. The short film is titled “World Builder”. While it appears as a high tech movie at the start, World Builder is really a love story and about creation.

Before I proceed with any further discussion, let me embed the video here for your viewing. (I highly recommend spending the next 9 minutes viewing it :-))

Here are some of my thoughts from the video:

“We are all energetic beings.

We create through conscious thoughts –
Taking delight in the most meticulous of details.

Life is breathed into the delicate folds of a flower –
Love is what inspires us!

Sometimes, illusions are no more separate than reality;
And reality no more separate than an illusion.

We discover ourselves in the Universe we create,
And the Universe discovers itself in us.”

Thanks for sharing. It’s a very powerful movie clip indeed. Here are some inspired thoughts:

:: We create the reality we see in life, consciously and unconsciously.

:: No one person’s reality is exactly the same as the other.

:: As much as we may want another person to feel the same way as us, but there’s no guarantee results. We can try to influence someone’s experience, but how the other person perceives it is out of our hands.

:: Life is a dream. Don’t be too hard on yourself and others. Be who you are and let others be who they want to be.

Cheers

OK. IT’S THE REAL EXPECTATION.

Wow, a beautiful clip, and very well rendered. Thanks for sharing.

The present is all we have.

Hi Evelyn: I had not heard of this video, I’m glad that I watched it. I think that the man had a limited window of opportunity to try and convince the woman to come out of her self-induced sleep or coma and experience the beauty of the world. However, the thoughts that kept her in that comatose state were too strong and they pulled her back into sleep.

@the conscious life, thanks for sharing your thoughts. They are gems of wisdom!

@Syarhan, hmmm….I don’t think I really understand what you mean. Can you kindly explain?

Kaushik,

Most certainly, let’s treasure each present moment!

Have a great weekend,
Evelyn

Evelyn, thanks for sharing that video. It was incredible! I’m sitting here trying to analyze why it moved me and I can’t answer that. I have no profound insight. I just loved it. 🙂

Hey Stephen,

Glad to know that you were moved by the movie. It’s awesome that you were simply BEing present to your feelings. No thoughts.

Hi Evelyn,
To me it was very meaningful. Here is my intepretation. Life is beautiful, colorful, exciting, full of surprises, challenges and disappointments which our creator has given us but we don’t cherish it to the fullest until it is too late but none the less there is still hope as our creator is everforgiving.

Thanks for the movie Evelyn.

I absolutely loved that piece. It left room for lots of interpretation–and I appreciated your expressions too.

I loved it!!!! For me, it was a reminder that we should stay out of the trap of comparing ourselves with each other. I can create a world, you can create a world. And Often when I think I have discovered a real truth (like this video) I find myself anxious to show it to my friends and show them “what I have discovered.” I need to remember that it is for me. It’s all inside. The whole universe is a product of our inner true selves. It’s an inside job! Thanks for the wonderful video.

Evelyn - July 2, 2009

Hello John,

Welcome to my blog. Love your interpretation! I enjoyed how you ended it off by saying that our creator is everforgiving. Beautiful!

Have an awesome week,
Evelyn

@Johnathan, I pretty much thought that there can be a lot more interpretations than the ones I had. Thanks for appreciating my expressions!

@Guy, your comments put me on a “high”! By all means, send the video link to your friends. It is meant to be shown and distributed. It will be nice to know what they thought of it. I most heartily agree about the inside job…LOL!!

Based on my limited understanding, each spiritual being has an inner world, one which the being creates, influences and be influenced by this inner world. As the being evolves spiritually, alignment in a multi-dimensional manner becomes more prominent. “As above so below”, “as within so external manifestation” will be realised. Paradox and Duality of life will be dissolved, Wordless and Completeness will be achieved.
In conclusion, Self and God-Realisation.

Vincent,

Well said! We would even go to the moon or Mars , just to find out more about existence; but not spend the time exploring the world within. The inner world is rich, beautiful and expansive. It’s where self meets God/Source/Divine.

Namaste.
Evelyn
