Break From Blogging

I will be taking a break from blogging. The break is to allow for more time in meditation, without the distraction of the internet. It will be a period of consolidation and contemplation. The thing is that I have no idea when I will be back.

(Picture taken yesterday at a park yesterday. The roots represent groundedness, reminding us the importance of building a strong foundation in everything that we do. It is only in stillness that provides the most solid grounding of all – hence my inspired words “Movement gives Life but Stillness is my Grounding”.)

“I trust so much in the power of the heart and the soul; I know that the answer to what we need to do next is in our own hearts. All we have to do is listen, then take that one step further and trust what we hear. We will be taught what we need to learn.”
— Melody Beattie

To all who have been visiting this blog, I wish to take the chance to thank you for your support.

Take care, everyone!

Namaste.

There is stillness in the night
As i walk along, through my life,
Watching every one
Watching every where,
Come to me,but please be nice
I just wish to say hello,
And share what is here and there
And as we say hi thus breaking the ice,
I just wonder to myself,do i wish
To be alone,
To be still and nourish myself
On the inner planes,
Be still child of LIGHT
ANGEL of LOVE,
Allow the Truth to come forth
And allow the Supreme’s Delight
To carry you away and into the Dawn
Of a brand New Day.

Evelyn,
I wish you well on the journey in front of you. In the last year, and in getting to know you here in this space – I’ve witnessed your spirit shine. So, I know what you’re doing is what you need to do, at this time. And whatever that means for the future, I know it will come from a spot deep within you, and be a very meaningful direction.

I love this blog and hope you come back, but wish you well in your endeavors.

I second the wonderful comments left here, and while I was sad to see that you won’t be writing here for awhile, I’m happy that you’re meditating. What a glorious way to expend our energy. Mmm, makes me want to sign up for a meditation retreat this fall!
Best wishes, and of course, I’ll anxiously await your return should you choose to keep blogging. (smile)
With love,
Megan

Evelyn

For my own selfish reasons I sincerely hope you return to us. From a less selfish place I also think you have much to contribute to the blogasphere with your unique voice and point of view. However, it is always right to follow the flow of your heart and soul and I know if you feel this then it is right for you.

And stay in touch one way or the other, okay?

Namaste.

Hi Evelyn – have a great break. I’m glad you are not giving yourself a date to return, as just having a date can sometimes put you under pressure when you don’t need it.

Evelyn, yesterday I was catching up on tons of unread posts that had accumulated in my reader. But today I had a strange feeling that something was missing. And then it came to me – there were no posts from Attraction Mind Map!

I came to your blog to make sure everything was OK, and I’m glad to see that you’re choosing to take some time to do what you need to do. Enjoy that, but I do hope you come back. 🙂

Suzen - October 21, 2009

Evelyn- hi, I just found you. If you come back to your blog, would love to know and soak up all the fruits of your time in the silence! Godspeed.

Steven Handel - November 19, 2009
