Creation, Intention, Consciousness

Nature provides us with several wise insights about creation, if we only bother to stop and contemplate. The problem is that we have become so busy in our individual lives that we have failed to interact with nature.

(Water Lily Lake)

We overlook or disregard how connected we are as One not just amongst the human species but including all of nature (the realm of various types of living plants and animals). We take little care about our environment even while it provides resources that sustain us.

First of all, let us recognize that there is an Intelligence that creates and governs all of nature. Intelligence is a creative and abundant force. Think of the reproductive process of all living species. There is an Intelligence that brought about the changing of seasons, the migration of birds, the pollination of flowers, singing of the birds, the morphing of a butterfly from a caterpillar, the miraculous birth of a child; to name a few.

All of nature comes together in a synchronistic dance. There is constant renewal and rejuvenation. Every piece is perfect in its creation. Every piece has its place. Each piece fits into a complex yet connected tapestry of life.

Therefore, the process of creation is not random as it may first appear to be. In fact, creation is really a product initiated by the mind. Quantum physics has already proven that everything in the Universe is energy. We are all made of consciousness or thought. All of existence come about as a result of a belief, thought or an idea.

Intention

(Wild flowers on the sidewalk)

There can be a zillion thoughts that run through our minds every day but what we give energy to, we manifest. We create consciously through the power of our intent. Intention dictates how our creative thoughts unfold. The Universe simply complies with our requests – without exception – every single time! Our beliefs are bound to manifest in something.

Hence, the less conflicting signals you send out, the more singular your intents will be. The more focused your intents are, the stronger is the creative force. There is really no need or cause for worry if you have already sent out your intents. Patience is needed on your part, as energies are denser in the physical world and require time to take shape.

Then again, the process does not mean that you sit on your butt either. You back your intents up with affirming actions. Mere wishing is not the same as intents. With wishing, you do not have belief that it can come true. With intents, you have every belief and trust that you are already in possession of what is coming!

Consciousness

(Photo taken in Indonesia in June this year)

We can choose to create our reality consciously or we can go about life unaware about how our choices are affecting our reality. When we are ruled by the ego, we allow our life to be run by external forces. We manifest the exact life situation that our thoughts are about – chaos, conflict, negativity, trauma or sickness.

Our emotions are indicators of the thoughts behind them. They form our guiding system. With conscious awareness of how we are feeling, we recognize if we are in alignment or out of alignment in our thoughts, ideas and beliefs to our true essence. Hence, when we move in alignment with our feelings, we bring about congruence in terms of our thoughts. We recognize that we really wish to move away from feeling fear to peace, sadness to joy, envy to hope, etc.

Awakened consciousness is when we are in continuous awareness of who we really are. We are Source. Since Source is expansive, abundant and infinite, it simply means that our intents can bring the expressions of these qualities into physical forms. It happens when our intents are clear, sharp and focused. Energy takes shape in the physical realm to match our desires. Including all of nature.

Do share your poetry about the beauty in nature and what insights we can gather from them about creation.

Abundance always,

P.S. Photos published on this post are all my own. They were taken while I stood awestruck by the beauty in front of me. Be it a scene on the vastness of the sea or a singular flower from the earthy ground. Every now and then, I’d review my photos with fond memories of how each captured moment has felt complete for me.

Hey Evelyn, I must say I love all your photos it looks so beautiful. Creation is everywhere in this beautiful planet of earth, but we often get so caught up in our own little world that we neglect the beauty within our nature, we should preserve our external wonders of the nature for all the future generations to come, creating our life with positive intent and aware with our consciousness should be taught in school so more people know how powerful their mind and laws of attractions. Thank you for the inspiring blogs it’s always so full of abundance of joy when reading it. We should all be responsible in our environment not will it affect yourself but the whole planet earth for the future to come. Love , Respect, Peace Delia

Source sounds powerful.

I’m glad you pointed out you don’t just set intents, but you actually take action.

Robin - August 17, 2009

“We can choose to create our reality consciously or we can go about life unaware about how our choices are affecting our reality” – I agree entirely! And I love the way you have applied these ideas to Nature, Evelyn. I believe we are indeed co-creators of nature – everything around us is a reflection, or expression, of what is inside us! If it wasn’t, we wouldn’t be able to see it!

Hilary - August 17, 2009

Hi Evelyn .. beautifully written and set out .. I love the way you’ve linked the photos to your ideas – the creation/evolution/intelligence, then the Intention and your phrase

“There can be a zillion thoughts that run through our minds every day but what we give energy to, we manifest.”

rang true, and finally our Consciousness, our whole, our Source of the future ..

Loved it – thanks .. they are so great your pictures = well done! Loved seeing them.

Hi Evelyn,

Deliberate creation through intention is a strong theme for me in my life right now, so I really enjoyed this. The timing couldn’t be more perfect 🙂 Thanks.

Hello Delia,

Thank you for your lovely feedback. Your comment about teaching kids the power of the mind is a wonderful one! It didn’t cross my mind that schools should teach such topics, though. My thinking is that some parents will violently object as they prefer that schools focus on academic subjects. I have to share such stuff with my kids at home.

Take care,
Evelyn

J.D.,

By actions, you mean with taking of photographs? Oh yes!! I love to take pictures of nature! Trees are actually my favorites!

To my co-creator buddy, Robin,

You said “I believe we are indeed co-creators of nature – everything around us is a reflection, or expression, of what is inside us! If it wasn’t, we wouldn’t be able to see it!” Love it! I can’t agree more 🙂

Love,
Evelyn

Hilary,

There is a Oneness I experience with nature when I take the pictures. I have never felt so congruent before, which explains how things are falling in place for me. I am glad to know that you like the photos and how I linked everything together.

May we continue to be inspired by the beauty around us!

Love & light,
Evelyn

Marelisa - August 17, 2009

Hi Evelyn: Your photographs are beautiful, I particularly like the one you took in Indonesia.

I agree that a common problem is that we send out conflicting signals: one moment you want something with all of your little heart and soul, and the next moment you’re thinking to yourself how much work and responsibility it would take and that maybe you don’t really want all of that weight on your shoulders after all.

If we would just make up our minds as to what we really want and focus on it consistently, we are capable of achieving anything.

Nadia - Happy Lotus - August 18, 2009

Hi Evelyn,

The pictures are so beautiful. Very peaceful and serene. Thank you for sharing them with all of us.

Nature is such a great teacher and shows us how things have a way of happening without any force. Intention is so important as is clarity. Often people intented to have certain things but they are not really clear about what they want.

Recently I have come to realize that clarity is so important. I guess consciousness is equal to clarity. We definitely are the creators of our reality and nothing is impossible. Dreams do come true.

Vered - Blogger for Hire - August 18, 2009

Your photos are gorgeous.

Clarity and focus are essential – I agree. I have yet to achieve them!

Christine - August 18, 2009

Great photos, Evelyn!

Kaushik - August 18, 2009

Intentions are certainly powerful, and so much more so when we can declutter the mind. I’ve found with observing, simply watching, without analysis of judgment, the thoughts and emotions that go on inside us–simply watching clears the mind, and brings about another dimension. Clarity, awareness, consciousness, Source–whatever we call it, is already always here.

Thanks for a great post!

Evelyn - August 18, 2009

Hilda,

Deliberate creation through intention is something that I am working on myself too 🙂 It is amazing how our thoughts can truly become things!

To your success,
Evelyn

Marelisa,

I like the example you have quoted. It is true. I used to experience indecisiveness and non-clarity in my desires. I realize now that the result of it all is that I remain stuck. Focused intent is needed for any manifestations to occur!

To your success,
Evelyn

Evelyn - August 18, 2009

Hello Nadia,

To be conscious, in my opinion, is to be asleep no more! When I think about consciousness, it is also about making deliberate choices of how I would like my life to be. So yes, I am clear about creating a more empowering, loving and peaceful environment – both internally and externally – for myself!

Love and light,
Evelyn

@Kaushik, thanks for sharing your experience. I like what you said about “simply watching clears the mind, and brings about another dimension”. Beautifully articulated!

Evelyn,

I always look forward to your posts, and this one was no different. Your reminder that we manifest what we think about is so true and something I need to remember everyday.

Lovely photos too, as the rest have said!

I’ve fallen in-love with nature more than ever before this year, and for just the reasons you mentioned. The synchronistic dance, the interconnectedness, the fact that all of nature’s beauty is in me, and I am in it.

And just like nature, which comes about from a field of intention so powerful, loving and perfect, so do we. Seeds that turn into amazing trees, intricate flowers and the like. Then there’s us — sprouting forth from a tiny drop of protoplasm (as I heard Wayne Dyer once say). It’s breathtaking when I think about it that way. We are THAT powerful.

Beautiful post, and beautiful pictures!

Living a life on intent is a lovely way to achieve your goals. Acting as if you have your goals attained draws it closer to you. Keep your mind focused on the result instead of fearing a sad out come.

Gilbert Ross - August 20, 2009

Hi Evelyn,

Great post, excellently explained and to the point!

I am recently getting more intrigued by the subject of consciously creating our reality. A really fascinating subject.

I fully agree with the idea of emotions as indicators. I came to understand emotions as our dashboard for maneuvering our life.
When we are unconscious of our emotions they override us and can spin us even more out of balance. If on the other hand we learn to interact and redirect our emotions we get to the next step of consciously directing our life and destiny.

This pretty much reflects the contrast between being channels and resonators of the creative life force as against being just passive subjects to the tides of fate…and emotions.

I once had a vision in a meditation which I think pretty much sums up the idea of awakening and being conscious creators:

I saw many consciousnesses floating and interacting in what seemed like a pool. These consciousness where limited to float around in the pool and were subject to the forces of the currents in the pool. Then there were other consciousnesses in the pool which seemed to start vibrating at a different frequency until at one point they reached a threshold where they started shining and leaped out of the pool like in a spontaneous breakthrough. Outside the pool, they were no longer subject to the limitations and forces of the pool. They became creators of their destiny and self-actualized beings.

See you 😉
Gil

Hi Evelyn!
I love what you wrote here: “Our emotions are indicators of the thoughts behind them. They form our guiding system. With conscious awareness of how we are feeling, we recognize if we are in alignment or out of alignment in our thoughts, ideas and beliefs to our true essence.” I love how you compare this to nature. When we witness the stillness, and love and grace in nature, and when we feel those same things within, we are in flow. I love how healing nature can be to our wounded spirits. And I love how nature can redirect us back to ourselves when the ego has stolen us away. Great post!

Barbara Swafford - August 21, 2009

Hi Evelyn,

This is the second post I’ve read this week on getting closer to nature and how we are a part of all that is created (by whomever we believe our Creator is). Good stuff.

I agree with what you wrote, “We can choose to create our reality consciously or we can go about life unaware about how our choices are affecting our reality….” It really does come down to our choices, doesn’t it?

Thank you for sharing the gorgeous photos and reminding us to stop and smell the roses. It’s a great lesson in life.

Zeenat{Positive Provocations} - August 21, 2009

Hi Evelyn,
I love the pictures…so beautiful. And your post is just such a beautiful reminder to all things natural and beautiful.
Nature has a way of speaking to us..if only we are open to listening….and in listening we can attain such oneness with nature. Its amazing.
Thanks for this wonderful reminder.

Thanks for inspiring posts like this one! I’ve believed in these principles for some time now, but it’s nice to read someone else’s perspective as a refresher in the principles.

@Daphne, thank you for your lovely feedback. It is the same with me too. I love reading your posts as you are very candid in what you write!

Also I have much appreciate your warm support and encouragement with regards to my site!

@Darren, your feedback is very much appreciated! The constant reminders are also for myself, as much as they are for my readers 🙂

Megan,

I knew that I enjoyed scenic pictures but never this much recently. I now choose to carry my camera in my handbag, wherever I go. If I see something beautiful, I would want to capture it immediately. My pictures help to remind me about how awesome, infinite and abundant nature really is.

I enjoyed what yo shared on what Wayne Dyer once said “sprouting forth from a tiny drop of protoplasm”. How absolutely true!

Abundance always,
Evelyn

Hey Gilbert,

Your sharing of what you have experienced during your meditation session sounds pretty awesome! With an experience like this, I am sure that your sense of knowing about consciousness and how we create our own reality, without any limitation whatsoever, goes deep.

Yes, I am intrigued with the topic of consciousness and intent right now. It is great to have affirmations when what we have intended for comes true! Quite an adventure!

Abundance always,
Evelyn

Jodi,

I am glad to know that you enjoyed my post! You made an interesting point about “how nature can redirect us back to ourselves when the ego has stolen us away.” It got me thinking about what I have been missing for a long time. Thanks!

Evelyn

Barbara,

It is amazing how there can be more than one posts published with a similar message at around the same time. I enjoy the constant reminders to stay connected with nature.

Yes, I believe that happiness is a choice. In every moment, it boils down to choosing between two states. It can be easy to forget that, when we allow our emotions to take over or lose perspective. However, the more we remind ourselves regularly, the easier it is to make the shift in making a more empowered choice in any given moment.

Love and light,
Evelyn

@Zeena, welcome to my site! Yes, if we can only make the time to stop, breathe, and really listen and look.

@Lauren, yup…I enjoy reading from the perspectives of others too! Repetition is key for me in my learning!

@Chris, for a while, I wanted to respond by saying that “you are too kind in your comments”. Then, I stopped. I realized that I must be open to receiving compliments as well, if I am to espouse opening ourselves to abundance. So my better response is “thank you for your lovely comments. I graciously accept them”.

hi Evelyn,
i enjoyed this blog very much, I love this part you shared:

beautifully expressed! also i love how you signed off abundance always, I love the joy of blessing one another !! Have a lovely week! ~Jen

Baker - September 26, 2009

Hey Evelyn,
This post was very concise and well written. I enjoyed reading this because of the clarity that you speak in the words you write. We create everyday with the thoughts we hold because our thoughts are all energy. This is my favorite part that I resonated very well with: We are Source. Since Source is expansive, abundant and infinite, it simply means that our intents can bring the expressions of these qualities into physical forms.
Blessings in abundance to you.

map of consciousness - October 31, 2009

Good Post. Life is about everything and Nothing. Seek and you will find that there is nothing to seek.

Baker - October 31, 2009

Excellent post. Our thoughts create an energy that we can choose to direct to any thing we choose. We are living in an amazing time, where things will begin to manifest quickly for people that are aware of the new energy that emerging on the planet.
