Feng Shui: What the Year of the Goat is Expected to Bring in 2015

Let’s celebrate happiness, prosperity and good health in the new year!

A stone’s throw from where I stay is the Orchard Road shopping belt. As it is usually filled with shoppers, I tend to avoid going down to the malls especially during the weekends. However, every now and then, I do drop by. It is nice to soak in the atmosphere – especially when we are celebrating a festive season.

I took the above picture outside Ion Orchard on Saturday morning (February 14). From the picture, you can see a pair of swans symbolizing love and union against a backdrop of a Golden Ram. Notably, we are celebrating both Valentine’s Day and the coming Lunar Chinese New Year (starts from 19 February 2015 and lasts for 15 days) over three weekends.

Time flies! I recall writing about the Year of the Horse last year.

Well, 2015 belongs to the Year of the Green Wooden Goat or Ram. After a tumultuous 2014, things are generally expected to stabilize for the next 12 months. The goat is after all known to be a gentle, harmonious and calm animal. Its characteristics are often compared to the horse (last year was the year of the horse). The Yin wood is known to be more flexible as compared to the Yang wood last year.

Hence, on a macro level, world tension is likely to ease this year. In fact, it has been reported that more treaties will be signed. Planetary changes have already begun to show signs of positive changes.

What to expect for the Abundance Seeker

Health and environmental issues are expected to become the focus due to the strong Earth element. What to look out for are large-scale measures taken to improve health of entire populations. Interestingly, it is also said that natural remedies that help people reconnect with Mother Earth will take on greater importance (Click here for those who would like to buy essential oils at wholesale prices or even build an Essential Oil business).

From a numerology perspective as well, when you add up the digits in 2015, you get 8. The number of 8 is considered the number for money and power. If you consider the number 8 and strong Earth element, it will be a great year for building businesses on the physical plane. Leverage on the energies by creating solid structures and foundations. In other words, manifest powerfully by turning your ideas into physical reality.

Nonetheless, note that the essence of 8 is to stay in balance. Be aware of not getting overworked and being in struggle. Keep things in perspective and not let the desire for money and power get out of control.

Finally, you do need to introduce more water in your life this year. Accordingly, the water element is pretty much lacking. So I would suggest drinking more water, eating more fresh fruits and having an indoor fountain of wealth to attract prosperity.

Blessings of Abundance

I would like to wish each and every one of my readers much love, prosperity and abundance in the New Year!

May 2015 be the year that you manifest your heart’s desires!

Love and abundance,

I like this one very much! It’s a reminder not to lose focus on what’s important in life. I wrote a post that links to this very well – staying focused on the things that are precious in life – Bob Marley was the inspiration!

Release your grip on the past. If you’re trying to stay motivated on what affects your future, but feel weighed down by the past, you will not move forward. Let go of the past. You don’t need it to build your dream future.
