How to Create Wealth with Little or No Money Down

Are you drawn to idea of being able to create wealth with little or no money down?

If such an idea is true, it puts you in charge of your financial destiny; no matter what your family background is like.

We all know that money can be used to generate more money. Yet, some of us grapple with the self-defeating money belief that it is the only way for wealth creation. And so, if we don’t have the fortune of being born rich or are not smart enough to earn a decent amount of money each month, we mistakenly think that we are doomed to never get ahead.

Well, in recent years, I found out that while having the capital to generate income helps, having money – in itself – is not what it is that creates prosperity. Hence, it is possible to create wealth with little or no money down.

Let’s talk about having savings to create wealth to begin with. Financial prudence tells us that we need to start with saving money. The idea is to set aside a portion of our monthly income, so that we can accumulate enough to make up a fund. We want to make sure that we have something to draw on for a rainy day, retirement or to make an investment.

However, think of the archetype of a miser. A miser is someone who has “stingy” patterns. He may have lots of money in the bank but operating out of a scarcity paradigm, he can find it difficult to make a ten-cent donation to the needy. You would hardly consider this person as truly rich.

Also, don’t forget you can easily lose money with a bad financial decision. I certainly have had enough sore lessons regarding losing money in equity trading. My savings were wiped out substantially because I actively chased rumours in the stock market at one stage. So while I was drawing a good salary from a corporate job back then, I wasn’t making shrewd decisions.

So what is it that creates true wealth?

Shift Your Consciousness

From what I now know, creating true wealth starts with having a prosperity mindset. Prosperity is a state of being. It is the inner state that determines your external outcome or situation. Your consciousness – which is made up of your thoughts and emotions and your spiritual awareness, has an impact on the actions that you take.

Thus, it is possible to begin creating wealth even with zero or little money in your pocket. You start by shifting your consciousness regarding wealth. You bring about changes from the inside-out. In the process, by virtue of the Law of Attraction, you attract outcomes of prosperity that match the vibrational resonance of your consciousness.

As one of my favorite quotes by Napoleon Hill in his classic book Think and Grow Rich says, “when riches begin to come, they come so quickly, in such great abundance, that one wonders where they have been hiding during all those lean years.”

How to Get Started with Creating Wealth From the Bottom

Recall the many rags-to-riches stories that you have read about. These self-made millionaires or billionaires were able to build empires from nothing. A good number of them lead conscious lives too. They are committed to making a significant contribution to humanity. Studying these case studies reveals that many of them share similar ideas, attitude and behaviour – which we can emulate if we are interested to create wealth for ourselves.

So here is the thing: when you have a prosperity mindset, you see opportunities instead of obstacles in every challenging situation.

You undertake inspired actions that flow from prosperity consciousness – rather than one based on lack and scarcity. There could be hard work involved but you are already on the path of least resistance. You are in much less struggle or better yet, no struggle at all.

What is important to realise is that there is NO shortage of ideas when you operate from prosperity consciousness. The ideas are formed in your mind. While some ideas involve a lot of money, you can always begin by starting on the easiest one.

Indeed, as my experience has shown, it has been my ideas that help me write my books, articles, meditation scripts and coaching/healing programs. They have helped me generate an income from running my business.

So, take the first step to turning the idea into reality.

Hey Evelyn – Opening up our possibilities for wealth and abundance allows for wealth and abundance, no? As you say, prosperity consciousness allows us to see how we can make things happen, not how we can’t. And that’s how we create opportunities for ourselves.

Unfortunately, so many of us grow up with an opposite mindset and we’re often not taught how to have the abundance mindset. We are often brought up with lack and scarcity. Changing our mindset consciously seems to be the way to opening up more abundance in our lives but so many of us spend so little time doing so. The paths to riches starts within! i try to incorporate more active exercises in my life to live with prosperity consciousness, including keeping up with your blog.
