What My Power Word for Intention Setting in 2015 Is

“Our intention creates our reality. We are powerful beyond measure.”

What intentions are you setting for the year 2015?

Like many others, I start the year thinking about my intentions and things I would like to do. Well, I admit that I have not achieved every single goal made. However, upon reflection, I have found that my path has been going steadily in the direction of my overall intention.

It was not quite that way before I decided to do intention setting. I was going round and round in circles for a very long time. Things started to change when I got clearer about my purpose, and especially on how I would like to serve others in the world. Clarity helped me set on the direction I would like to take. (If you like some help in knowing your soul gifts and aligning with purpose, check out my reading services here).

Generally, I like to focus on a specific power word for intention setting each year. In the past, I have chosen words like abundance, harmony, alignment etc.

This year, the word I would like to focus on is: share.

Share versus Selling

For a long time, I have had a huge resistance to selling. I had declared, “I can’t do sales”. However, as someone who does an online business, having such a belief is obviously not helpful. It resulted in missed opportunities. Undoubtedly, entrepreneurship does involve sales skills.

Things became clearer for me when I aligned with the higher purpose of service (i.e. being of service to others with their abundance issues). The alignment required me to work on releasing my own money gremlin. Not long after, I was able to open my mouth to market my own coaching services to private clients directly at 4-figure sums without flinching and sweating profusely.

It got better last year when I decided to simply not hold myself back. I started to speak up and share my understanding on natural health solutions with my friends and the people around. I recommended essential oil products that helped solve their problems. In particular, essential oils that came from Young Living, a direct selling company.

It’s one thing to promote to strangers but quite another – at least in my opinion – to persuade my personal friends to not just use the products but to perceive the opportunity from a business perspective. Up till last year, I had faced a huge block to doing a network marketing business. I just don’t like the idea of friends avoiding me like a plague.

Well, I went on the basis of sharing over tea sessions with my friends. I shared about the research study that I did, the problems that the oils have helped me solve and the benefits they provided. I was passionate about helping them gain greater awareness about leading a life of conscious choices.

Interestingly, intuitive readings started to indicate that my purpose involves working with nature and Mother Earth. Also and luckily enough, Young Living essential oils sell by themselves. They are 100% organic, of therapeutic grade and have frequency vibrations that can lift our energetic states. Which made it easier for me to share about them.

To-date, I have been rather lucky in getting some friends to join me. They are mainly working professionals in the finance, marketing and IT-related fields. They are beginning to realize for themselves why a life with less chemicals and drugs is a better way forward. They are also starting to see the benefits of starting a part-time business – one that can take them beyond job retirement. Awesome!

So, my intention for the year is to continue the momentum of sharing.

Power Phrase: Purposeful Sharing

It’s obviously not just any sharing. I don’t deny there is an end in mind. Yet, it’s sharing that it is purposeful and powerful.

It helps to create awareness on natural health.

It prompts consumers to make conscious lifestyle choices.

It encourages users to share about the choices that they have made with their friends.

And for those who are keen to take things one step beyond being mere consumers, it empowers them to be leaders and to build a business that can potentially offer financial freedom.

So there you have it. My conscious intention is to share with aligned purpose. As a reader to my blog, you will get to read more about essential oils and the business & marketing skills I pick up in the new part of my journey.

What Is Your Power Word for 2015?

What about you?

What intention would you like to focus on this year?

The best way to get started is to write your intention down. It does not matter if you do not how to go about it at first. According to Brian Tracy, those who wrote their goals down are more likely to success in accomplishing them than those who didn’t. I invite you to share with me in the comment box below.

If you would like to more about obtaining essential oils at wholesale prices or to evaluate Young Living as a business opportunity, I will be happy to offer you a 30-min complimentary strategy session. It does not matter where you are located. I can contact you via Skype. My purpose, after all, is to share about making wiser choices for abundance and wellness. More info is found here!

In the meantime, have a Brilliant Year ahead!

Evelyn-

I LOVE that you are listening in, not holding back and letting yourself be of service. I have been a witness over the past years to your wisdom and soulfulness but in observing you over the last 12 months, I have felt that you were stepping into your power. Now I know that to be true.

It sounds like working and selling essential oils is aligned to who you are. Wishing you all of the best with it. I know you’ll be successful With love, Fran

My power word for 2015 is: Perseverance. I have a habit of giving up on things to quickly when they become hard, but not this year I want to stick at it until the “jobs” are done.

Thanks for reminding me to select a word. I like to do this, but seem to forget some years. My word this year is Courage. The quote that inspires me is “Courage is doing what you’re afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you’re scared. ” — Eddie Rickenbacker (1890-1973) American Aviator and Business Executive

I’m writing and posting this in more places this year. I really believe it will make a huge difference.
