“A dream is your creative vision for your life in the future. You must break out of your current comfort zone and become comfortable with the unfamiliar and the unknown.” Denis Waitley
It is the time of the year whereby you may wish to review the vision board that you have made or set some new goals for the next 12 months. Perhaps, you have watched “The Secret” movie or even watched Oprah, who shared about the power of using vision boards to bring forward your dreams.
So are you on the way to manifesting your vision? Or are you still struggling with manifesting the life that you desire?
If you are still struggling, listen to my New Year message about doing things differently this year and starting off with proper visioning work.
You have been inspired at the idea of creating vision boards after watching the movie, The Secret.
In fact, you may have Already created one by now.
You have spent an entire afternoon looking, cutting and pasting the pictures onto your board. They are pictures that represent what you want in a desired lifestyle. In a riot of colours, star stickers and glitter, it’s like a work of art – your masterpiece vision board.
Yet, since then……you have not managed to manifest any of your desires…..and you are beginning to doubt the idea about creating vision boards in the first place.
Well, I would like to introduce you to Charlie….

On Charlie’s vision board, he had the following pictures: the dream car, the beautiful house by the beach, the lovely designer bags, the holiday in The Caribbean and a gorgeous looking person (who looks some famous Hollywood star) as a partner. After two hours or so during a weekend afternoon, he had completed his board. At first, Charlie felt happy that he had done his part.
“My vision board is the window to my dream life coming true.”
There are several things that you can do to make your creative visualization sessions fun. You already know how important it is to use the power of pictures to assist in manifestations. However, if you have left your creative mind languishing for a long time, you may just need a little help in getting started. A little imagination can go a long way in making visualizing exercises fun-filled….and far from boring.
I have put together 10 sure-fire tips to help you have lots of fun in your creative visualisation sessions:
Creative Visualization Tip #1: Spark Off From A Single Idea.
You do not need to have a very clear picture at first. Starting off with a single idea is fine. Just follow your heart and see where it leads you. Allow your imagination some freedom as you follow your heart. Do not over-think or analyse. Nor feel like you have to restrict yourself when visualising the things you want.
