About the Artist

9-year old Min is an aspiring graphic artist and cartoonist. Highly creative and imaginative, she loves to tell stories through art. She enjoys filling her textbooks with drawings on dragons, parallel universes, magical adventures or even on her everyday life.

Other than drawing, Min likes cycling, talking to her terrapin, climbing trees in the park and lately, acting in home-made videos. Although Min appears to be shy on the outside, she has a sparkling personality with a huge sense of humor. She expresses all that she is through her creative endeavors and uniqueness.

Lastly, Min would like to thank all those who have given her some nice feedback and encouragement from the previous post πŸ™‚

Min,
It’s been a pleasure to see your artwork and your understand of meditation. Thank you so much! It sounds like you have a great life with a lot of interests. I like the quote your mother used to go with your pictures, too.
Sending you peace,
Betsy (from Zen Mama)

Evelyn,
My favorite saying about zen and meditation is that you should be able to meditate inside a brass bell being struck by a dozen hammers.
Apparently meditating with a fly buzzing around is pretty much the same thing!
Her drawings are almost as joyful as her smile.

Hello Rick,

Your favorite saying was really funny LOL! Oh yes, it would be somewhat similar to meditating with a buzzing fly.

Thank you for your lovely comments,
Evelyn

Great piece of work, she’s really talented!
The pictures remind me about the time I read “getting things done” and realized the importance of actually writing things down rather then to keep them spinning around in my head!

Kind Regards
Mads

What a great tip, Mads! And yes, now that you’ve mentioned it, writing down “things to get done” helps greatly in weighing us down with worry about getting to them.

Thank you,
Evelyn
