How To Practice Gratitude Prayers for Work

“Gratitude bestows reverence, allowing us to encounter everyday epiphanies, those transcendent moments of awe that change forever how we experience life and the world.” John Milton

If you would like to attract more business, increase sales or have more clients, here is a tip for you: practice gratitude for your work. A sense of appreciation goes a long way. You not only say thanks to your clients but you also thank the Universe or God. The Universe obligingly responds by giving you more of the same.

Is the following scenario true for you? You have been thanking your customer after the transaction or purchase politely. However, instead of feeling really happy, you are mostly in a state of stress, exhaustion and overwhelm. You are busy with making sales calls, promoting your business and monitoring your marketing program. In fact, oftentimes and out of the earshot of your client – you are lamenting, complaining and feeling lousy about your sales, performance and work.

The thing is if you wish to enhance your magnetizing ability, this is key: practicing gratitude for your work by making a prayer of thanks to the Universe or God.

When you practice gratitude, you say or think mentally: “thank you”. By virtue of the Law of Attraction, you magnetize more “thank yous”. If you are to express your gratitude to the Universe or God, it responds by sending you more clients or business partners expressing their appreciation.

It helps if you are sincere and genuine. Because you are in a state of ease and meant the “thank you” sincerely, the Universe responds with ease and sincerity. Things are less of a struggle, and attracting your next client or JV deal becomes easy. With many satisfied clients saying “thank yous”, you are well on your way to generating wealth.

Would like to know more? Here are 5 tips on how you can practice prayers of gratitude for your work…

1. Express Thanks for Every Thing that You do.

Practicing gratitude is not a practice that got introduced recently by new-age proponents or believers of the Law of Attraction. In fact, the act of expressing prayers – even in daily tasks – is an ancient and revered practice. The Celts, for instance, had prayers for stoking the fire in the morning, fherding the animals, blessing the kitchen before cooking, and other ordinary activities of their day.

Understandably, work environments, more often than not, do not feel like worship spaces. However, if you think about it clearly, there is universal energy all around. It is in our offices, bathrooms, kitchens and everywhere. It is in every menial task that we do in order to accomplish the big goal. Hence, consider integrating the power of expressing thanks into everything that you do.

2. Add Feelings to Your Prayers.

Emotion adds power to your prayers. Infuse the energy of celebration into your gratitude expressions. Joy lifts your vibrational state powerfully. You can also sing out your gratitude in you want to 🙂

3. Align Passion and Purpose.

I have found that what helps is doing work that I enjoy and work that is aligned with purpose. To be honest, I don’t recall a time when I expressed gratitude for some of the previous work that I did. I had no passion in what I was doing back then. However, after aligning passion and purpose in the heart-centered work that I do, it is easy to follow up with appreciation.

Here is what happens when you meet passion and purpose: You experience yourself in a flow that takes you from passion to purpose and finally, a prayer of thanks. You are kept in a continuous positive state that enhances your magnetizing power.

4. Acknowledge the Presence of a Higher Power.

Let the Universe or God know how grateful you are for the success breakthroughs of your clients by acknowledging the presence of spirit. You can do this by asking for guidance before performing a work task or act of service to your client. After all, you are the physical conduit for universal energy. In the work that I do, for instance, I hold space for the transmutation of information and the transformation to take place for the client with the act of allowing.

Here is one recent feedback that I received…

“I am totally amazed by the amount of information I received with my reading. Evelyn provided so many explanations for questions I have had regarding aspects of my personality and things I have ‘known’ all my life but didn’t know why or how. The prayer/homework has already begun to make certain shifts that I can perceive. Evelyn is such a gracious person who , I feel, truly has your wellbeing at heart. I would recommend Evelyn to anyone who is searching for answers that their soul has been seeking. On a practical note, Evelyn provided several days and times for me to select what would work best with my schedule. Many thanks and gratitude.” Dawn – United States

(More of my testimonials for my reading services can be found here.)

I am in awe of spirit’s work in the above cases. I thank the presence of a higher power. Undoubtedly, it is how I have been very blessed with positive comments and feedback. Ultimately, it is with the grace of a higher spirit that I have been able to do work that I enjoy 🙂

I believe that one “thank you” can potentially create a multiplier effect. You add to positive energy. Your sense of gratitude generates positive responses all round. Eventually, you find that you receive a lot more in return.

Hello Vishnu,

Good for you with saying “thank yous”. It is great that you have found that it helps to acknowledge the higher powers of divinity. Yes, I believe that if we practice being mindful for all the tiny things that happen in our life, we can say a lot more prayers of gratitude and experience an uplift in our energy.
