Release Fear To Reawaken Into Love

“Release the fear in your mind and reawaken to the love inside your heart.” – Self-Love Secrets: How to Love Yourself Unconditionally

Release the Fear in Your Mind

Fear corrupts the mind like a virus. It lays siege on your thought patterns. It infiltrates insidiously into some of your worst nightmares, causing you to wake up in terror in the middle of the night.

Many people use the words “mind” and “brain” to mean the same thing. Well, they are not. The mind is not the same as your brain.

Just as well, I was helping my children with some science over the weekend. My children learned this from their textbooks: The brain is a biochemical organ in the human body. As I was writing this post, I realized that what I have forgotten to point out to them is the truth that I have discovered outside their books. And so, I hope to share the rest of what I have written in this article later with them.

The brain is a physical part, whereas the mind is the spiritual part of your soul. The mind contains your conscious awareness. It is the mind that gives you a sense of beingness. Even though they refer to different things, the mind and the brain have to work well together.

Found in the upper area directly beneath the top of the skull, the cerebrum is the largest part of the brain. The surface area of the cerebrum is known as the cerebral cortex, which contains billions of neurons. According to the science textbooks, the cerebrum contains the neurons that allow us to process higher thought. Thus, unlike animals, we are able to read, write, create and speak.

However, it is the connection with source or creator energy that directs and allows your abilities to manifest in the physical world. When the neurons fire up, you are able to make use of your brain capacity. The more connected you are with the divine, the greater the activation of the neurons. Psychic abilities that lie dormant also get awakened.

The mind influences the vibrational state of your being. In pure perfect love, your vibrational state of being is at 100 percent. You are fully awakened. If your mind becomes tainted with fear, your vibrational state of being reduces accordingly.

Thoughts in the mind make up your awareness. Over time, your thought patterns become hard-wired into limiting beliefs. The freedom to experience life to its fullest is curtailed. Consequently, you act out of habit, condition and expectation. You react from memory, rather than experience out of present moment awareness.

Fear in the mind can drive you into full-body paralysis. You experience an inability to function properly. Your default mode becomes one of worry, stress and confusion. All in, operating out of fear consciousness affects your physical experience of life on Earth by reducing your well-being.

Reawaken Into Love in Your Heart

Love is the optimal state of your soul. It is not the same as the default mode that you have been operating on for a long time. For out of habit, you have unconsciously made fear as default.

Let’s clarify one more thing. It could well be the heart – and not the brain – that is the most intelligent organ in your body. Studies show that it is the heart actually sends more signals to the brain than the brain sends to the heart! According to Heartmath, these heart signals have a significant effect on brain function – influencing emotional processing as well as higher cognitive faculties such as attention, perception, memory, and problem-solving. In other words, not only does the heart respond to the brain, but the brain continuously responds to the heart.

Over decades, science has described the heart as an organ that pumps blood only. However, spiritually, the heart is always known to be one of intuitive insight, wisdom and emotion. It helps you to channel love into your being. Thus, the heart fulfills a multifaceted role, more than just a physical function. We cannot ignore its multifaceted role if we wish to live in full power of our potential.

Let’s start at the beginning and remember this: We are, in essence, a spiritual being having a human experience on Earth. Thus, we are really conduits for love, and not fear, in the physical world.

Fear is mostly a product of your ego, the part of your human mind that clings on to the illusion of power, safety and control.

Love comes from your spiritual heart. It connects you to the truth of who you are. At its purest, there is no clinging, no attachment, no condition.

“Love is what we were born with. Fear is what we have learned here. The spiritual journey is the relinquishment – or unlearning – of fear and the acceptance of love back into our hearts. Love is….our ultimate reality and our purpose on earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life.” – Marianne Williamson

The message for today: Release the fear in your mind. And reawaken to the love inside your heart.

Love and abundance always,

P.S. Valentine’s Day takes place in February and so, I have chosen the theme for this month to be Love. Well, I have got something exciting lined up in the name of Love. It draws on my Self-Love Secrets book. Do keep a lookout for it!!

Share Your Thoughts

For a long time, I took what I learned in science to be the ultimate truth. They had formed many of my beliefs. The result was that I was not very willing to explore beyond what is taught in the textbooks. Was it the same for you too? How has that changed for you?

Also, do share your tips on how we can release fear in our mind and reawaken into unconditional love in the comments below.

I agree completely.
Thanks for the insights on the spiritual nature/connection of the heart.

Having experienced out of body states personally I now know that we are indeed conscious/spiritual beings manifesting as physical beings.

Hello Galen,

Tuning in has enabled me to gain insight into what is going on in the subconscious. It has been a great help to be able to observe the fear and know what it does.

Glad that you have found the information useful!

I really appreciate your effort in helping people to be physically and emotionally upright, this is a good job, keep it up! My question goes this way, how can someone alleviate the problem of inability to face crowd? Thanks.

Hello Nuryn,

Thank you for your feedback.

You have to face the fear but still do it anyway. So when you are just about to present or go on stage, use the power of visualization. Visualize yourself in the shoes of some role model and connect with the feeling of empowerment. See yourself speaking confidently.

Avoid being too hard on yourself if the presentation does not come out well in your first try. Practice makes perfect!

All the best,
Evelyn

Thankyou Evelyn,
It is always good to get more ways to learn to deal with fear. I agree that under that fear (aswell as other emotions) is who we really want to be, who we really are… and the thing that we ultimately want to connect with!

Ben,

Yes, the fear is not who we are. It is for the most part psychological. What is real is beneath all that fear. Strip away the layers to reveal our authentic self!

Hi Evelyn,

I’m glad you explained the distinction between the mind and brain. You’re right that the two are different. There’s some overlap, but they aren’t completely the same.

You make some interesting points about fear being the default mode out of habit. Unconsciously we could do this to ourselves. That would mean we don’t work as good as we could.

It’s also interesting that you talk about the connection between the heart and brain. This is a conversation I was having with my wife earlier today. We discussed what the relationship is and what kind of influence over people the heart has (other than the obvious of course). We both think the heart has quite an influence on the brain. Very interesting subject.

Steve
