How to Propel Your Point of Power for Prosperity in the Present

“The Point of Power is always in the Present Moment.” Louis Hay

point of power in the present moment

If you have been stuck in a financial rut for some time, you may believe that it is not possible to change your situation. You are feeling disempowered, frustrated and angry over the lack of progress. You are in agony, as you cannot find a way out of your problems.

Let’s take the example of being in a situation whereby you are barely making ends meet. Perhaps, you see that the problem lies in the job that you are having or it is because you have just started on a new entrepreneurial venture, which has yet to take off. Whatever it is, you are not able to afford the things you would like to have.

Over time, you start to feel worse and worse. You try to think positively or put in more hours at work, but it is of no use. You cannot seem to manifest a better outcome for yourself.

Your emotions go into disruption. You experience massive energy leakage. You may even become aware that it is some of your childhood patterns that are holding you back but you have no idea what to do or where to start. Eventually, you may become convinced that you will never be able to deserve more.

The thing is that the longer you stay stuck, the deeper you sink in the mud.

With this, you become aligned with poverty consciousness. All that you think, see or do is borne out of lack. Now, unless you make the commitment to get help, you can be stuck for a very long time.

As I have found out myself, this is clearly not necessary. I often think about how things would have been a lot better if I started inner work at an earlier age. I wouldn’t be spending years feeling lousy and sorry for myself.

The good news is that once you make that commitment, things can shift. It is possible to make changes faster (especially if you work with a trained professional) too, as compared to just putting in physical action.

So how do you reclaim your power to manifest prosperity quickly when you are feeling a sense of despondency, hopelessness and powerlessness?

How do you heal yourself from the past that has kept you hostage for eons?

How do you overcome your resistances to doing things differently, in order to attract prosperity?

The answer lies with making changes at the energetic level, that draws on one of the sacred truths that I often remind my clients about: “the point of power is always in the present moment”.

What Does it Mean to Be In the Present Moment

The sacred truth can sound abstract especially if you are new to meditation, spiritual practices or universal teachings. Hence, I recommend that you take the time to ponder over it. Realizing the depth of its meaning can help expedite your healing and boost your abundance quotient exponentially.

Living in the present moment means that you give your presence fully in the now. Your consciousness rests in this very moment. You are centered, fully alive and completely alert (that involves your entire holistic being) to what is going on.

Thus, your mind is neither trapped in the past nor caught in the future. You are not griping about how your ex-lover left you with a bunch of debts ten years ago or how your parents failed to affirm your sense of worthiness when you were a child. You are also not thinking about what your Friday plans are when it is the beginning of the week or worrying about your retirement plans in the future.

You are in full attention to the moment. You are in acceptance of what-is, neither resisting nor struggling against the now. You are in full acceptance of your current situation and you perceive it as an opportunity to heal your wounded child or free yourself of old patterns in order to step into the new. You no longer give power away with a mind that is distracted away from the present.

Pivot from Power in the Present Moment

Your mind is in its fullest power when it is fully centered in the here and now.

Only the present moment is real. The present moment is the entry point where your mind perceives a past and conceives a future. It is from the present moment that the past and the future exist in your mind. However, the past and the future are not real. They are merely psychological concepts that your mind has created. By being stuck in the past or in the future – instead of being present in the now – you become trapped in an illusion.

Trapped in an illusion is imprisonment. Your mental mind likes to repeat a debilitating story about how horrible your situation is, how someone else should be blamed about your predicament and how the universe has been so unfair to you. The stories paralyze you into inaction. Realize this: By giving power away to the past, you become frozen in the present moment.

The moment becomes congested with thoughts that are emotionally corrupted with anger, blame, frustration and pain. As a result, you are not able to think, feel or love freely and completely. So if there is an important decision that you need to make, you may well end up making one that is not in your highest good or in the best interest of all parties concerned.

Prosper from Present Moment Power

When you give the moment power, the past just drops away. You are able to heal this very instant. You let go of the burdens that you have been carrying and the nightmares that have haunted you in your sleep. You give the permission for your wounds to close and heal this very moment.

Giving this moment full power also means that the future no longer binds you in knots when you have no idea how to reach your goals. Your attention is focused on the now, on what you can do. The quality of your attention to the present moment is full. You are engaged in your art, the act of doing something that you love. In the present moment, you become one with the act of doing in a synchronistic dance of creation that is powerful, magical and expansive. Your capacity to experience abundance is greatly enhanced.

Power fuses you when you are free. No longer burdened, you are free to craft out a life that you desire. Aligned with inner power, you are free to be the best that you can be. You are able to forge a purpose-driven path that will result in prosperity, as you operate from an abundance paradigm.

I liked this well written post. Life and power exist only moment by moment. The energy accumulates over time, so that whatever you are doing moment by moment becomes your life.

Hi Evelyn,

Beautiful indeed πŸ™‚

Living in the present moment is what we ALL need to do, though it’s one of the most toughest things I’d say. Perhaps we are either caught up with our past or think too much about our future, which stops us from living in the NOW. I do write a lot of posts about it as you already know, but am caught up at times in living in the moment, and I know I need to change that.

Thanks for sharing and the reminder. Have a nice week πŸ™‚

Hello Harleena,

Agreed, it is not easy living in the now. We need to retrain the mind to focus in the present moment. A daily practice of meditation and mindfulness has certainly been very helpful for me. I am sure it has been for you too πŸ™‚

Love and abundance always,
Evelyn
